Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- At the meeting with Khorezm region’s representatives, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev commented on increasing car prices.

“You all see that the decision of leaders of our car industry to raise car price caused people’s dissatisfaction. This may be economically feasible, but it is not correct in the current conditions. We must make life easier for people. Every decision needs to be thought out not seven, but seventy times. First, we need to strengthen the purchasing power of our people”, says the President.

The Head of the state noted that transition to a market economy is difficult process, but Uzbekistan will continue to follow this path.
