Uzbek President awards long-livers
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov signed a decree “On awarding a group of civil servants and workers of production and social-economic sphere in connection with the 25th anniversary of Uzbekistan’s Independence” from 25 August.
According to the decree, 14 people at the age of over 100 were awarded with the Shukhrat medal.
They were awarded for their contribution to strengthening Independence of Uzbekistan, improving its economic potential, upbringing young people in spirit of love to the Motherlands, patriotism, respect and etc.
The Shukhrat medals were awarded to:
Haithon Atalikova - the city of Andijan, Andijan region
Almahan Esemuratova - Chimboy District, the Republic of Karakalpakstan
Nishon Isayeva - Bakhmal district, Jizzakh region
Ismail Israilov - Yunusobod district, Tashkent city
Munavvar Madaipova - Gulistan district, Syrdarya region
Tuy Mustafoeva - Peshku District, Bukhara region
Hursanay Pirmatova - Yangiyul district of Tashkent region
Moriyahon Prmatova - Namangan distict, Namangan region
Maksad Rustamov - Payariq district, Samarkand region
Yoqut Ruzmetova - Honqa district, Khorezm region
Hayit Turaeva - Oltinsoy district, Surkhandarya region
Huvayda Umarova - Buvayda District, Farganskaya area
Huroy Ergasheva - Nurata district, Navoi region
Urol Yusupova - Nishan district, Kashkadarya region
