Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev awarded the Rector of Moscow State Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Torkunov Anatoly Vasilyevich, with Dustlik (Friendship) Order.

President of Uzbekistan signed a corresponding decree.

The decree said that Anatoly Torkunov has been awarded for his personal contribution to strengthening the strategic partnership and alliance between Uzbekistan and Russia, fruitful humanitarian cooperation for many years and support for the implementation of long-term programs of academic and scientific-educational exchange, as well as direct participation in training highly qualified specialists in international relations and economics.
