Uzbek police seize 3.5 kg of heroin

A resident of Termiz, who had previous conviction for drug trafficking, have smuggled a batch of heroin from Tajikistan into Uzbekistan using bypasses. In the town of Denov in Surkhandarya Region, she colluded with a local woman, who had agreed to hide the batch of heroin in her home.

The women were detained while trying to sell the drugs. A criminal case has been launched, an investigation is under way.
