Uzbek Pharmaceutical Experts Discuss Cooperation with Japanese Companies
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — During a working visit to Japan, the head of the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry held a series of important meetings with representatives of both governmental and private organizations.
Negotiations took place with JETRO President Susumu Kataoka, the Chair of the Pharmaceutical Association of Nara Prefecture Sato, and leadership from Yamato Godo Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Shinsei Pharmaceutical Industry Co., Ltd., Marudai Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., and Iskra Industry Co., Ltd.
The main focus was the development of bilateral cooperation in education, research, and investment. The parties signed a memorandum of understanding to formalize their collaboration.
Additionally, the agency’s delegation met with Unical Co., Ltd. and E+craftman Co., Ltd., presenting the work of the Agency and the Tashkent Pharma Park pharmaceutical cluster. Discussions covered joint scientific research, initiatives in pharmaceutical education, and production of dietary supplements and vitamins, including high-calcium, highly bioavailable products.
The visit concluded with agreements to continue expanding collaboration and implement joint projects in the pharmaceutical sector.
