Uzbek Pharmaceutical Development Agency and Qurecraft Discuss Cooperation in Clinical Research
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Director of the Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency, Abdulla Azizov, held a working meeting with representatives of Qurecraft, an international contract research organization.
The parties discussed opportunities for collaboration within the framework of a public-private partnership (PPP) aimed at developing clinical research in Uzbekistan.
Discussions focused on establishing a digital infrastructure, enabling local medical institutions to obtain international accreditation, training qualified personnel, and attracting foreign pharmaceutical companies to the country.
Qurecraft expressed its readiness to invest in software development, workforce training, and regulatory support. Special emphasis was placed on creating a transparent clinical research management system and establishing a unified patient registry.
The two sides agreed to further refine the PPP concept and prepare a detailed business case.
