“Uzbek model” of development shows high results

I have listened with great interest to the New Year congratulations of the President of our country, where he specified that among the few countries in the world, despite a deepening global economic and financial crisis, the pace of growth of our economy in the current 2015 year, as in the previous ten years exceeded – 8%.

As a result, the face of our country, our cities and villages have unrecognizably changed, a rapid growth of industries, modernization and diversification of the production, increasing the competitiveness of our economy has been provided, modern high-tech enterprise has been put into operation.

This is primarily evidence of the correctness of the chosen path of development, which has been recognized in the world as the “Uzbek model” based on the cardinal reforms, democratization of the society, structural reforms, diversification and modernization of economy and achievement of our main goal – join to the developed democratic states of the world.

Under the initiative and guidance of President Islam Karimov there was developed one of the first in the world Program of Anti-crisis Measures, which was sequentially implemented. If the adopted in many countries anti-crisis measures programs were aimed to elimination of consequences of the accrued damage, the Uzbekistan program differs with its direction to prevention of coming threat, as well as strengthening the economy, increasing its competitiveness.

Thanks to such farsighted measures even at the height of the global crisis our country managed to preserve macroeconomic stability, ensure high rates of economic growth. Uzbekistan appeared amongst the countries in which the economy least suffered of crisis.

There are a lot of factors, which ensured successful overcoming of multiple difficulties and trials. The main out of them is – the principle of realization of economic, political and social reforms without leaps, i.e. not in revolutionary, but evolutionary way.

One of the most important aspects of such evolutionary development is the point, that state takes the main responsibility in the process of realization of reforms. International organizations also widely recognized that state plays important role in the economy of transition period, in realization of deep reforms and the experience of Uzbekistan is in this regard a unique example. In the process of ongoing up till now global financial-economic crisis even in developed countries the role of state in regulating economy grows, which once again confirms, that the own way, selected by Uzbekistan was the most right one.

In our country whatever the name of the New Year always pays special attention to protecting the rights and interests of our mothers and sisters and their full support. Therefore, the name of the current year was named “Year of a healthy mother and a healthy child”. As a mother I can say with certainty, the birth of a healthy child, the formation of harmoniously developed generation is possible only in families where mothers live a happy life.

Indeed, our nation devotes all their lives to children and for their bright future, which is the most important goal. Therefore, in our country we pay special attention to the education of the young generation harmoniously developed personalities. As specified in the election program of our party, raising the potential of youth is an investment in the future.

In the years of independence were adopted the laws “On Education”, “National Program for Personnel Training”, “National Program of School Education Development”, which became an important basis for the adaptation of education to democratic development of our country, providing for youth education on the modern level. I listened to the congratulations of the President of our country and I am fully confident that this work will be continued in 2016. As the President of our country noted in his congratulation, “...Our confidence in the future, our hope and support are - our children, our youth. The more we pay attention, the more resources we spend to training the younger generation, who meet the latest requirements, independently-minded, intellectually rich, devoted to their Motherland of young people, no doubt, – we will build towards our goal”.
