Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 10 November, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to our country Nikolai Doroshenko.

Serious concern was brought to the attention of the Ambassador of Ukraine in connection with the unsubstantiated statement spread in the media by a representative of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine about the alleged supply of dual-use products in circumvention of the current sanctions restrictions.

The inadmissibility of dissemination by the Ukrainian side of unreliable information in the media regarding Uzbekistan was emphasized.

At the same time, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan is ready, upon receipt of official requests from the Ukrainian side, to study the issues of interest and provide objective information.

In turn, Ambassador Nikolai Doroshenko assured that he would promptly bring the concerns of the Uzbek side and the results of the meeting to the leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
