Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 9 November 2022, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Furkat Sidikov held a meeting with permanent representatives of Great Britain (Neil Bush), Germany (Gesa Bräutigam), France (Christine Fages) and the United States (Michael Carpenter) at the OSCE, who arrived in our country on a visit. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.

The sides discussed the state and prospects of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the OSCE, ways to further intensify the Organization's project activities in the republic.

The parties noted with satisfaction the dynamic development of multilateral cooperation with OSCE institutions in all three dimensions of the Organization's activities.

During the meeting, special attention was paid to the issues of enhancing cooperation within the OSCE on the implementation of joint projects in such areas as attracting advanced technologies and innovations, developing a "green" economy and mitigating the consequences of the drying up of the Aral Sea.

The foreign delegation was informed in detail about the ongoing large-scale socio-political and socio-economic transformations as part of the implementation of the Development Strategy of New Uzbekistan for 2022-2026.

During the talks, there was also an exchange of views on topical issues of the regional and global agenda.
