Uzbek Manufacturers Open Trade Platform in Moscow

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A trade platform for Uzbek manufacturers has officially opened in one of Russia’s largest commercial complexes, “Sadovod,” in Moscow.

The project was implemented with the support of the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Agency for the Development of Light Industry to promote national brands in the Russian market. The opening ceremony was attended by the head of the Agency, Nozim Kholmuradov, and the director of the Department of the Ministry, Inomjon Abdurakhmonov.

Retail outlets and warehouse spaces have been centrally leased for enterprises in the textile, footwear, and garment industries. The platform hosts 38 retail points where Uzbek companies are already actively showcasing their products — ranging from clothing and footwear to home textiles and accessories.

The new trade platform creates broad opportunities for direct sales, signing contracts with Russian partners, and strengthening the presence of Uzbek brands in the country’s largest market. In addition, manufacturers will be able to promote their products on leading Russian online marketplaces, including Wildberries, Ozon, Yandex.Market, and Avito, ensuring nationwide visibility for Uzbek brands.
