Share of the industry in total industrial production of Uzbekistan made up 19.7%, the committee added.
In the reporting period, Uzbekistan produced 196,400 automobiles, which rose by 10.3% year-on-year. Production of trucks rose by 74.2%, buses – 14.4%, specialized automobiles – 49.7% and cars (without special cars) – by 9.7%.
A he same time, the country increased production of automobile engines (14.7 times), bodies (9.4 times), trailers and semi-auto (2 times.), wheel disk of cars (48.9%).
The enterprises of machinery industry recorded growth of production of agriculture equipment such as pick-ups (3 times), tractors (2.3 times), harrows (1.9 times), trailers (1.7 times), grain harvestors (46.4%) and cultivators (11.5%).
In January-September 2013, Uzbekistan increased the production of electrical products such as cable signal - blocking (1.8 times), bare contact wires (1.7 times), cables for fixed telephone lines (36%), household wires (29.2%), armored cables (17.9%), adjusting wires (10.8%) and hose wire (6%).
The industry also increased output of flat TVs – 14.1 times, DVD players – 10 times, electric kettles - by 78.2%, energy-saving lamps - 75.8%, and washing machines - 28.8%.
