Uzbek leader to visit Russia in April
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov will visit Russia in the end of April, Deputy Finance Minister of Russia Sergei Storchak said at the session of international committee of Federation Council on 28 March 2016.
He said that Uzbek leader will pay a two-day visit to Russia on 25-26 April, Sputnik agency reported.
Storchak underlined that one of key issues of negotiations in Moscow will be issue of re-equipping of Armed Forces of Uzbekistan.
Russian official said that there are preliminary agreements on supply of Russian equipment to modernize and re-equip the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan.
