Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As part of the program of an international conference in Tashkent, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of Bangladesh Abul Kalam Abdul Momen.

An exchange of views took place on the development of bilateral cooperation and the regional agenda.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs conveyed to the head of our state the sincere greetings of the President of Bangladesh Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Shaikha Hasina Wazed.

Strong support was confirmed for the initiative of the President of Uzbekistan to develop the interconnectedness of the regions of Central and South Asia.

Particular attention was paid to building up practical cooperation by stepping up exchanges, promoting joint projects and programs in the trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
