Uzbek leader extends condolences to UAE President

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev extended condolences to the UAE in connection with the death of representatives of the UAE humanitarian mission in Kandahar (Afghanistan).

According to the Uzbek Foreign Ministry, Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent a message of condolences to the UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

President of Uzbekistan expressed his sympathy and empathy to the families and friends of the victims.

The five UAE embassy officials were killed in a bombing in Kandahar on 11 January while on a mission to carry out humanitarian, educational and development projects.
