Uzbek leader approves new structure of Labour Ministry
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov signed a resolution “On measures on improving organizational activities of the Ministry of Labour of Uzbekistan” on 24 February 2016.
The resolution approved a new organizational structure of the Ministry of Labour. As reported earlier, Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population was reorganized into Ministry of Labour on 22 February 2016.
The Uzbek leader optimized number of personal of the Ministry of Labour and its departments in the places. In particular, now Minister will have on deputy.
Sector on work with International Labour Organization and International Relations and Sector on introduction of information-communication technologies will be created at the Ministry. Functions of some departments will be expanded.
The changes are directed at improving efficiency of the activities of the labour bodies and ensure employment of population.
