Uzbek leader appoints Deputy Culture and Sport Minister

President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov appointed a new Deputy Minister of Culture and Sport Affairs.
According to the press service of the Ministry, Abbosjon Mirzorakhimov was appointed as Deputy Minister of Culture and Sport Affairs.
Prior to appointment, he worked as the head of the Department of Cultural and Education Institutions, Museums and information resource centers of the Ministry of Culture and Sport Affairs.
