They established the production of a synthetic drug "mephedrone" in a clandestine laboratory in three rented apartments in the city of Tashkent.

As a result of special measures, synthetic drugs “mephedrone” - weighing 892 grams, “alpha-PVP” - 45 grams, as well as more than 360 liters of toxic chemicals and precursors used as raw materials were found and seized in these apartments. , the necessary equipment and protective equipment.

Also, the law enforcement bodies seized 898 grams of mephedrone, 15 liters and 12 kg of various chemicals and 8 liters of "bromoketone", which were hidden by members of the group.

In addition, US$113,770 were confiscated from them in the form of bitcoin cryptocurrency, UzA reported.

It should be noted that the members of the group were born in the period from 1992 to 2000, three of them are students of prestigious higher educational institutions in the city of Tashkent and abroad.

Meanwhile, today there is also an illegal importation of synthetic drugs by drug couriers from abroad.

In particular, a previously convicted resident of Tashkent, born in 1996, was detained while receiving drugs - 1 kg 994 grams of mephedrone and 499 grams of spice, as well as 6 capsules of hash oil hidden inside electric scooters brought to a lorry from abroad.

In addition, a resident of Tashkent, born in 1984, was detained while receiving 500 grams of heroin, 947 grams of hashish, 500 pieces of synthetic drugs LSD, 60 capsules of hash oil hidden inside an electric scooter brought in a truck from abroad.

It was established that these persons were active members of a criminal group engaged in the sale of synthetic drugs in Tashkent via the Internet.

At present, on these facts, criminal cases have been initiated, investigative actions are underway.
