Uzbek, Kazakh FMs hold negotiations

Erlan Idrisov arrived in Uzbekistan with the working visit on 22 December 2016.

According to the Uzbek Foreign Ministry, the sides discussed issues of developing bilateral relations via realization of agreements, reached during the Uzbek-Kazakh high level contacts.

The sides considered cooperation of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs within international and regional organizations, taking into account election of Kazakhstan as non-permanent member of the UN Security Council for 2017-2018.

Uzbek and Kazakh Foreign Ministers affirmed mutual interest to further deepening dialogue in various fields, including boosting activities of the bilateral institutes of cooperation.

Ministers noted the closeness and coincidence of positions of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan in practically all discussed issues.
