Uzbek-Japanese youth innovations center to be created in Tashkent
On 30 June, Japanese envoy Fumihiko Kato held negotiations at the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade of Uzbekistan.
At the meeting, the sides discussed issues of realization of the project on creation of unique Uzbek-Japanese youth innovations center under the Tashkent State Technical University.
The center will stimulate joint innovative researches and generate scientific researches via wide introduction of Japanese experience in developing and commercializing innovations and scientific developments, as well as their practical use in economy.
The sides outlined further joint steps directed at speeding up realization of the project on creation of the center.
The Uzbek and Japanese side also exchanged opinion on current state of realization of joint programme Jupiter, envisaging modernization of generation capacities in Uzbekistan with use advanced and highly efficient technologies.
