Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 20 June 2022, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Vladimir Norov had a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Hossein Amir Abdollahian at the initiative of the Iranian side.

The current state and prospects for the development of Uzbek-Iranian relations in various fields were discussed.

During the conversation, special attention was paid to the issues of enhancing inter-parliamentary ties, economic cooperation, developing trade relations and promoting new cooperation projects.

The schedule, agenda and organizational aspects of upcoming events were considered, including as part of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
