Uzbek Interior Ministry, CASIC discuss perspectives of introduction of Secure City system

The parties discussed issues of implementation of the Safe City system. In May 2017, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the China Aerospace Research and Industrial Corporation, where he express interest in Safe City system.

The Uzbek side underlined that specialists of Uzbekistan have experience in implementing the hardware and software complex Safe City.

Uzbek Interior Minister noted that only a small part of the system has been implemented in Uzbekistan, but the main thing is that the first steps have been taken in increasing the level of public safety in the capital city with the use of advanced information and communication technologies.

According to Uzbek Minister, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan cooperates with the specialists of Russia and other companies of China in development of high technologies. Abdusalom Azizov added that the Uzbek side gave priority to CASIC developments.

Deputy Director General of CASIC, the head of the delegation, Song Xin, briefed the Uzbek side on activities of the Chinese company and experience in implementation of the projects directed at ensuring public security.

He assured the Minister of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan that the specialists of the Chinese company are ready to cooperate with the Uzbek side.

During the talks, the sides discussed implementation of joint projects on improving public safety and security of the citizens and guests of Tashkent city.
