Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov sent a congratulatory message to the Minister of External Affairs of the Republic of India Subrahmanyam Jaishankar on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations (18 March 1992).
The message notes that the Uzbek-Indian partnership, based on a solid foundation of the historical, cultural and spiritual community of the peoples of the two countries, at the present stage demonstrates high growth dynamics.
Last year alone, the heads of the foreign ministries of Uzbekistan and India held six meetings, both on a bilateral basis and within the framework of international forums and events. This testifies to the mutual desire of the parties to build up a strategic partnership filled with specific practical content.
Abdulaziz Kamilov expressed confidence that through the joint efforts of Uzbekistan and India, the relations of friendship and cooperation between the countries will develop and deepen in all areas, for the benefit of both peoples.
