Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers “On measures to implement the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On the state of emergency” was adopted.
Thus, persons who have reached the age of 18 and are able to work taking into account their knowledge, skills and state of health can be involved in work in an area where a state of emergency has been introduced.
It is forbidden to involve:
disabled people of the first and second groups and persons caring for them;
disabled;
pregnant women;
persons raising a child - a disabled person of the first and second groups;
women under the age of 35, if the work is carried out in the danger zone of ionizing radiation.
The employer pays labor at the end of the month (on the day of expiration or termination of the employment contract) for the actual work performed in the organization, based on the current rates and salaries for positions.
Required assistance to victims includes:
provision of temporary housing;
three meals a day, drinking water, clothes (warm clothes in the cold season);
medical and rehabilitation assistance;
providing the most necessary goods and providing material assistance in case of loss of income due to the restriction of activities during a state of emergency;
temporary employment assistance.
Damage caused as a result of actions that served as the basis for the introduction of a state of emergency, or in connection with the implementation of measures to eliminate their consequences, is subject to compensation.
In cases where the property of the victims is insured against the corresponding risk, compensation for the damage caused to them is carried out by the relevant insurance organizations.
The document approved the provisions governing:
involvement of the unemployed in the performance and provision of emergency rescue and other urgent work in the area where a state of emergency has been introduced, and the procedure for paying them wages;
providing necessary assistance to victims in a state of emergency and compensation for harm caused;
accounting of persons who took part in maintaining the state of emergency, as well as the procedure for applying additional guarantees and compensations to these persons;
implementation of international humanitarian assistance in the state of emergency.
