Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A government resolution “On measures to improve the naming of objects of trade, industry and consumer services” was adopted.

According to the resolution, the Center for teaching the basics of office work in the state language and advanced training at the Tashkent State University of the Uzbek language and literature, as well as its territorial divisions, provide services for assigning names (naming) in the state language to objects of trade, industry and consumer services.

The Center and its regional divisions have the following additional tasks:

- online formation and constant updating of the reserve of names that correspond to the rules and norms of the state language, national values and recommended for assignment to objects;

- preparation of texts for outdoor inscriptions, signs, advertisements and announcements, as well as carrying out linguistic expertise for their compliance with the rules and norms of the state language, the degree of similarity or similarity of names.

- provision of services on the basis of an agreement for the creation and selection of names for objects in the state language.

The names of objects are carried out in accordance with the requirements of the laws "On the State Language", "On Company Names" and "On Trademarks, Service Marks and Appellations of Origin of Goods".
