Uzbek, French Presidents exchange congratulation messages

French President said: “Today, it is pleasant to me to note that established relations strengthened in all spheres of cooperation such as political, economic and cultural spheres.”

François Hollande underlined that in past years, France and Uzbekistan could establish friendly relations.

French President expressed hope that high level of established partnership between Uzbekistan and France, based on trust and respect, will continue to develop in following decades.

In his turn, Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev said: “We particularly appreciate the fact that in January 1992, the French Republic was among the first countries to recognize the independence of Uzbekistan, and also firmly supported its independent development and sovereignty”

Uzbek leader affirmed adherence of Uzbekistan to further promotion of productivity and mutual beneficial cooperation in France in all issues of bilateral and multilateral agenda, first of all in political-diplomatic, cultural-humanitarian spheres, as well as concrete programmes and projects in trade, investment, high technology, tourism, introduction of advanced methods of corporate management.

Mirziyoyev expressed his assurance that Uzbekistan and France will continue joint work on deepening the Uzbek-French relations and strengthening of their firm foundation based on principle of mutual respect, equality and trust.
