Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 18 January 2023, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Furkat Sidikov received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to our country Jonathan David Hanick.

During the meeting, certain issues of the multifaceted Uzbek-American strategic partnership in areas of mutual interest were discussed.

Particular attention was paid to the possibilities of enhancing economic diplomacy, including in the B2G format.

The schedule, organizational and content aspects of the planned events and visits at various levels were considered.

The ambassador announced the readiness of the American side to assist Uzbekistan in the implementation of the course of reforms, including through USAID.
