Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 25 October 2021, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Gayrat Fozilov met with the President of the Institute for Forecast and Security in Europe Emmanuel Dupuis, who arrived in our country as an observer at the presidential elections in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The Deputy Foreign Minister gave detailed information on the priorities of Uzbekistan’s foreign policy, on the ongoing large-scale transformations in all spheres of society.

Dupuis noted the high organizational level of the presidential elections held in Uzbekistan on October 24. A positive assessment was given to the favorable conditions created for the active participation of citizens in the electoral process.

An exchange of views took place on the situation in Afghanistan and on some other issues of an international character.

Proposals for expanding cooperation between the research circles of the two countries were considered.
