Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 1 June 2021, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Gayrat Fazilov held negotiations in the format of a video conference with the Deputy Managing Director of the European External Action Service Luc Devin.

During the conversation, topical aspects of interaction between Uzbekistan and the European Union were discussed.

Special attention was paid to issues related to the negotiation process on the draft Agreement on expanded partnership and cooperation between Uzbekistan and the EU.

An exchange of views took place on the schedule and agenda of upcoming events, as well as the implementation of joint investment projects.

Other issues of the general agenda were also discussed at the meeting.
