Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic Vaclav Yilek.

Issues of bilateral relations and planned joint activities in the near future were discussed.

The parties reached an agreement to work out the next round of political consultations and the 9th meeting of the IGC on economic, industrial, scientific and technical cooperation in the first half of 2023.

The interest of the Parliaments of the two countries in enhancing ties by organizing mutual visits and negotiations in the format of videoconferencing was expressed.

The parties stressed the importance of strengthening mutually beneficial ties, intensifying cooperation in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.

As a result of the meeting, agreements were reached on expanding ties in various fields, including sports, the media and defense.
