Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 6 October 2021, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Furkat Sidikov held a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China Jiang Yan.

During the meeting, an exchange of views took place on current issues of the Uzbek-Chinese agenda.

Special attention was paid to certain aspects of interaction between Uzbekistan and the PRC within the framework of multilateral structures.

The parties discussed the efforts of the two countries to provide humanitarian assistance to the Afghan people, as well as the situation in Afghanistan.
