Uzbek Foreign Ministry hosts a meeting with British Ambassador

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Gayrat Fazilov has met with British Ambassador Timothy Torlot.

The parties discussed the state and prospects of Uzbekistan – British relations, including issues of intensifying the political dialogue and comprehensively deepening cooperation in all areas.

Special attention was paid to the expansion of trade-economic ties, inter-parliamentary cooperation, collaboration within international organizations, as well as the expansion of the legal framework. 

The parties also considered proposals for the schedule of upcoming Uzbekistan – British contacts at various levels.
