Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 29 September 2021, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Farhod Arziev held a meeting with members of the advanced group of the CIS Long-Term Observer Mission to observe the upcoming presidential elections on 24 October of this year, led by the first Deputy Chairman of the CIS Executive Committee Leonid Anfimov.

During the meeting, it was noted that the headquarters of the CIS Observer Mission began work on 29 September 2021. Confidence was expressed that the Mission will fully fulfill all the tasks entrusted to it.

The CIS delegation was provided with information on the reform processes in the country, as well as the conditions created for participation in voting for citizens of Uzbekistan who are abroad.
