Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 7-8 March 2022, 428 citizens of Uzbekistan were returned from Ukraine through the airport in Katowice (Poland), including 69 women, 48 children and 11 babies. This was reported by the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

In the period from 28 February to 8 March 2022, 21 flights took place. 4,787 compatriots were taken out of the combat zone.

Two more flights are scheduled for 8 March.

Along with this, work has begun on the issue of the export of citizens of Uzbekistan located on the territory of the Republic of Moldova.
