Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 10 December 2020, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania Romeo Stanca, who is completing his diplomatic mission in our country.
During the conversation, the state and prospects of the Uzbek-Romanian cooperation in the political, trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian and other spheres were discussed.
Special attention at the meeting was paid to the issues of interaction between the two countries within the EU.
It was noted that the Uzbek side attaches particular importance to the development of trade, economic and investment ties with Romania, including the expansion of mutual trade by organizing supplies of a wide range of products to the Romanian market.
In conclusion, the Minister highly appreciated the personal contribution of the Ambassador to the strengthening and development of Uzbek-Romanian relations.
Romeo Stanciu, in turn, thanked for the constant support of his activities in Uzbekistan as the head of the diplomatic mission of Romania.
