Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, met with a U.S. delegation led by Congresswoman Carol Miller. During the meeting, the parties discussed key issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Uzbekistan and the United States.

Minister Saidov noted that the strategic partnership between the two countries continues to develop dynamically across various spheres, including politics, economy, culture, and security. "Our cooperation holds significant potential for further strengthening, and we are committed to actively working towards its realization," he emphasized.

Special attention was given to the role of interparliamentary ties. Both sides praised the activities of the "Caucus on Uzbekistan" in the U.S. Congress, which serves as an important bridge for strengthening dialogue between the two nations. "Active engagement at the parliamentary level remains one of the key priorities of our foreign policy," Saidov stated.

The meeting also provided a platform to discuss prospects for expanding cooperation within international organizations and to exchange views on pressing regional and global issues.

Both sides expressed confidence that deepening the Uzbekistan-U.S. partnership will contribute to strengthening stability and prosperity in Central Asia and beyond.
