Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 23 August 2021, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov held a videoconference meeting with Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Adel al-Jubeir.

During the conversation, the current state and prospects of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in areas of mutual interest were discussed.

An exchange of views took place on the situation in the region, including the development of events in Afghanistan, as well as issues of interaction between the parties within the framework of international organizations.

The schedule and organizational aspects of upcoming joint events at various levels were considered.
