Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov held talks with Japan’s Minister of Justice Keisuke Suzuki, who arrived in Tashkent on an official visit.

As noted by the Uzbek foreign minister on his Telegram channel, the discussions focused on deepening the strategic partnership between the two countries.

The sides exchanged views on a broad range of regional and global issues, as well as key areas of bilateral cooperation — including legal reforms, modernization of the judicial system, and sharing best practices in governance and the rule of law.

They also discussed prospects for institutional cooperation between the justice systems of Uzbekistan and Japan within the framework of ongoing reforms.
