Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, met with the State Minister for Emir’s Diwan Affairs of Kuwait, Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah.

During the talks, the parties discussed prospects for further strengthening Uzbek-Kuwaiti relations. Particular attention was given to intensifying high-level political dialogue, expanding trade and economic cooperation, and developing cultural and humanitarian ties.

Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister noted Kuwait’s important role in fostering unity in the Islamic world and expressed gratitude for the traditionally warm reception. Both sides expressed confidence that the agreements reached would contribute to the dynamic development of bilateral relations in the interests of the peoples of both countries.

The meeting took place in an atmosphere of mutual understanding and constructive dialogue.
