Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 1-2 April 2021, a regular meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Commonwealth of Independent States was held in Moscow, in which a delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan headed by Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulaziz Kamilov took part.
The participants of the event exchanged views on topical issues of the international agenda and interaction within the Organization, considered the implementation of the Action Program to enhance partnership between the foreign ministries of the CIS member states and the Plan of multi-level inter-MFA consultations, and also discussed drafts of a number of multilateral documents submitted to the Council of Heads member states of the Commonwealth.
Following the meeting, action plans were approved for the implementation of joint documents adopted during the presidency of the Republic of Uzbekistan, including the Strategy for the Development of Cooperation in the Field of Physical Culture and Sports for 2021-2030, the Strategy for the Development of Cooperation in the Field of Tourism for 2021-2030 and the Strategy for International Youth cooperation for 2021-2030.
The next meeting of the CIS CFM will be held in October 2021 in Minsk.
