Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 13 January 2023, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic Aurélia Bouchez.

The parties discussed the development of Uzbek-French multifaceted cooperation in political, trade, economic, investment, cultural, humanitarian, tourism, scientific, educational and other fields.

The importance of the comprehensive implementation of the agreements reached during the official visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to France on 21-22 November 2022 was noted.

Proposals on the schedule of joint events planned for 2023 were considered.

Issues of economic diplomacy occupied an important place at the talks. The parties expressed interest in the development and implementation of joint projects in various areas.
