Uzbek FM receives outgoing EU envoy
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Head of the Delegation of the European Union and Ambassador Yuri Sterk is completing his mission in Uzbekistan.
In this connection, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received Yuri Sterk on 26 August 2016.
At the meeting, the sides exchanged opinion on priority directions of developing cooperation between Uzbekistan and EU, including in EU-Uzbekistan format and implementation of new strategy of EU for Central Asia.
The Uzbek side underline productive character of the activity of the envoy and highly rated his contribution to strengthening of mutual beneficial relations between Uzbekistan and the EU.
Yuri Sterk expressed his gratitude for creation of favourable conditions for successful execution of his mission in Uzbekistan.
