Uzbek FM receives Indonesian Ambassador

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Indonesia Anak Agung Gde Alit Santhika on 19 May 2017.

According to the Uzbek Foreign Ministry, the parties discussed the current state and prospectus for the development of Uzbek-Indonesian relations.

It was stressed that the brief conversation of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of Indonesia Joko Vidodo held in Beijing on 14-15 May 2017 at the international forum “One Belt, One Way” is an important step towards strengthening and expanding bilateral cooperation .

At the meeting, the sides also exchanged views on selected international and regional issues.
