Uzbek FM receives Deputy Secretary General of EMS

During the meeting it was noted that the establishment of the Regional Secretariat of centers of CBRNM corresponds to the goals and objectives of the initiative of Uzbekistan to create a zone free of nuclear weapons in Central Asia, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.

At the meeting, the sides discussed priority directions of further development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the European Union, including in the framework of the EU Strategy for Central Asia, as well as other issues of international and regional character.

The talks were attended by the Head of the EU Delegation, Ambassador Yuri Sterk.
