Uzbek FM Participates in Informal Meeting of OTS Foreign Ministers’ Council

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 7 March, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov took part in an informal meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS).

Saidov expressed his gratitude to Türkiye’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan for organizing the meeting, noting its timeliness amid current international challenges.

According to the Uzbek minister, discussions focused on rising threats to regional and global security, as well as the importance of strengthening solidarity and coordination among member states.

Uzbekistan emphasized its support for further deepening practical cooperation within the organization and advancing key initiatives aimed at ensuring stability, enhancing connectivity, and promoting sustainable development in the region.
