Uzbek FM meets with UBTIC co-chairperson
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov met with the co-chairperson of the Uzbek-British Trade and Industry Council (UBTIC) Barbara Hay on 21 November.
Former British envoy to Uzbekistan Barbara Hay arrived in Tashkent to participate in the 23rd session of UBTIC along with the British businesses.
According to the Uzbek Foreign Ministry, the sides discussed actual issues of bilateral relations in trade-economic sphere.
Barbara Hay briefed the Uzbek sides on the result of the UBTIC session in Tashkent, meetings in ministries and departments of Uzbekistan.
The sides noted that UBTIC is one of efficient mechanisms of strengthening and expanding trade-economic and investment cooperation. It is one of important platform for cooperation of business circles of two states.
The sides discussed other issues of mutual interest.
