Uzbek FM meets with Special envoy of President of Russia

According to the Uzbek Foreign Ministry, the sides discussed the state and prospects of bilateral cooperation in the cultural and humanitarian sphere as an important component of dynamically developing ties between Uzbekistan and Russia.

In this context, it was noted that the forthcoming large-scale exhibition at the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts – “Treasures of the East”, in which a significant number of paintings and graphics, objects of archeology and applied art from the National Museum Fund of Uzbekistan will be presented, will undoubtedly become a landmark event in the Uzbek-Russian relations, as well as in the cultural life of Moscow.

During the meeting other issues of mutual interest were also considered.
