Uzbek FM meets with president of Afghanistan

According to the Uzbek Foreign Ministry, Mr Kamilov conveyed a personal message of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the President of Afghanistan with an invitation to visit Uzbekistan on an official visit.

During the meeting the sides discussed issues of further development of bilateral relations in various fields.

It was emphasized that thanks to the political will of the leaderships of Uzbekistan and Afghanistan, relations between our countries have acquired a completely new dynamic and character that is evident in the enhanced cooperation in political, trade-economic, transport-communications and cultural-humanitarian spheres.

The sides also exchanged views on the issues of mutual interest of international and regional policy.
