Uzbek FM meets with new Ambassador of Kuwait
On 5 December 2015, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the newly appointed Ambassador of Kuwait.
Ahmad Khaled Abdullah Al-Jeeran presented a copy of his credentials to the Uzbek Minister, the pres service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.
The sides discussed the main directions of Uzbek-Kuwaiti relations, cooperation in the framework of the UN and other international organizations.
During the meeting, the parties also exchanged views on the practical aspects of the forthcoming presidency of Uzbekistan in the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and other topics of mutual interest.
At the post of the Ambassador of Kuwait to Uzbekistan, Ahmad Khaled Abdullah Al-Jeeran replaced Khalaf Mijbal Bu Dhhair, who wrapped up his mission in Uzbekistan in July 2015.
