Uzbek FM meets new Lithuanian envoy

The Ambassador presented his credentials addressed to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.

During the discussion of topical issues of traditionally friendly Uzbek-Lithuanian relations, the sides noted the mutual interest in expanding cooperation in various fields, including the intensification of interministerial dialogue, cooperation in the format of Uzbekistan - European Union and in the framework of international organizations.

During the meeting, the sides touched upon the practical aspects of strengthening bilateral relations in trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
