Uzbek FM holds negotiations with Barbara Logan Hay

Abdulaziz Kamilov congratulated Barbara Logan Hay with her appointed to the post of the co-chairperson of the Uzbek-British Trade and Industry Council (UBTIC). It was noted that the UBTIC is one of efficient mechanisms of boosting and expanding bilateral trade-economic and investment cooperation between Uzbekistan and Great Britain.

At the meeting, the sides considered perspectives of strengthening interaction of business circles of Uzbekistan and UK in context of gradual development of inter-governmental dialogue, as well as practical aspects of participation of the British delegation at the International Investment Forum, which will be held in Tashkent on 5-6 November.

During the meeting, which was attended by British envoy Christopher Allan, the sides exchanged opinion on some issues of international agenda.
